The RS crossover pair gets a revised turbo-petrol engine. The overhauled 2.5-litre five-cylinder makes 394bhp and 480Nm which is enough for a 0-100kmph time of 4.5 seconds and the electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.
However, the customer can get rid of the limiter to attain a speed of 280kmph. The transmission is a seven-speed sending power to all four wheels.
The reworked power train gets a new aluminum crankcase which is now lighter by a whopping 18 kilograms. And the crankshaft is drilled hollow saving another kilogram. The RS customers can also opt for a Sport exhaust with a blacked-out tailpipe.
